How to Make Vanilla Ice Cream - Easy 3 Ingredient Recipe

In our family Summer is all about spending time outside with each other. But it can get really hot here in Southern California, so we like to enjoy our fair share of frozen treats to cool down! With a family of 5 it’s hard for us to all decide on one flavor for ice cream, and I am certainly not going to buy 5 different flavors. So I decided to make my own vanilla ice cream that we could keep on hand and customize with toppings to suit everyone’s taste. This recipe calls for just 3 ingredients, it really could not be easier to make. But the best part is, there is no ice cream machine required. I have so many kitchen gadgets, so anything that will keep the clutter out of my kitchen is a win in my book!

Once your ice cream is set, it’s ready to serve! I like to set up an ice cream sundae bar for the kids complete with chocolate syrup, candy, sprinkles and cherries to top off their yummy treats.

And we always have a good supply of Wet-Nap napkins on the table to go along with our sundaes.

Homemade ice cream is easy to make, and the clean up should be just as easy!

We like the Wet-Nap canister because it’s easy enough for kids to use on their own. The napkins are now even stronger to easily tackle the clean up of the messiest kids! They are antibacterial but soft and gentle on the kids’ delicate skin.

Wet-Nap products can be found in the napkin aisle, I picked up mine at Walmart.
