Essential Oils for your Dog!

Lately, I’ve received many requests for information regarding the use of essential oils for different ailments that dogs experience. Their physiology is similar to ours and they respond to essential oils just as well as we do! Our pets are affected by environmental factors that cause eczema, asthma, allergies, arthritis etc. Even Ceasar Milan, “The Dog Whisper” uses essential oils during his training.

Using Essential Oils for your Dog!

So here’s some useful information that you can use for your dog. First, the topical application options for dogs, are on the bottom of their feet-on the paw pad, aromatically in a diffuser, or topically on skin. To dilute any of the essential oils for smaller dogs, use coconut oil or olive oils as a carrier.

Frankincense: Anxiety, Colitis, Inflammation, Infections, Inset/Snake bites, Tumors, Warts
Lavender: Accesses, Anxiety, Allergies, Burns, Eczema, Conjunctivitis, Vertigo, Wound Care
Lemon: Claw Strength, Anxiety, Immune Boost, Infections
