Googly Eyes Valentines with Printable Cards

Googly Eyes Valentines with Printable Cards

Every year for Valentine’s Day I send my kids with a non-candy item to share with their class because there is so much candy that comes home! When my daughter was little she watched a show called Oobi, it was only on late at night so we would record it for her. The characters on the show were talking hands with these googly eyes. It was a little strange, but she loved it! So, when I found these googly eyes at my local dollar store I knew I had to do something with them.

For this Valentine’s Day project I created a fun printable with “I only have eyes for you, Valentine” to go with the googly eyes. I made the cards with plenty of room at the bottom to add the googly eyes.

You can use printed washi tape or regular clear tape to attach the eyes. I like the washi tape because of the options with matching printed designs, I think it looks better! You can find washi tape at most craft stores, or even Target and Walmart. If you can’t find what you need, Amazon has a great selection of washi tape as well as the googly eyes. I’ve added links to the supplies on Amazon below. Happy crafting!

Thank you so much for this! This is my first year making “crafty” Valentines with my oldest two kiddos (4 and 8) and these are perfect for them to take to school. The kids love the googly eyes, I love the printable, and I have a lifetime supply of washi tape anyway so…. win-win :)
