Printable Summer Bookmarks

During the summer we can’t spend everyday outside! It’s gets pretty hot here and sometimes we just have to take the summer fun inside. Before the school year ended, I put together a stack of books for my daughter to read so that she didn’t lose all of the great skills that she learned over her year in Kindergarten. To make reading even more fun, I made these summer themed bookmarks especially for these books.

Printable Summer Bookmarks

We use the bookmarks for her everyday reading books, as well as for the larger books that I read to her. If you are looking for a few book suggestions one of or contributors, Jackie, has put together a few posts for you:

Summer Book Recommendations for Kids: Books For Traveling

Great Summer Books and Activities for Kids Grade 1-2

Great Summer Books and Activities for Kids Grades 3-4

End of Summer Books for Kids: Grades K-3

Printable Summer Bookmarks

You can print these bookmarks for yourself here: Printable Summer Bookmarks. I printed them on cardstock so that they had a little structure to them. You can have your kids decorate them with them name and stickers, or add ribbons to the top to find them easily between the pages!

Oh they look so cute! I’m not a kid, but I will print them for myself! The one with the Flip Flops is my favorite :)

Cute idea! I remember the days when my kids were first starting to read. Now my the books my kids read have a lot less pictures in them. :)

These are great! We set a timer everyday and spend the time reading. These bookmarks would be perfect for the chapter books. I love the book suggestions.
