Protect Your Skin with DIY Sunscreen

My beautiful grandmother was just diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma, and in honor of her fight to beat this cancer, I wanted to focus on sunscreen! The best prevention for all skin cancers and aging is sunscreen. As we become more conscientious of what we put on our body, let me give you a DIY Sunscreen recipe made with all homeopathic ingredients that also makes great gifts this summer for those you love!

Protect Your Skin - DIY Sunscreen

This recipe has 20 SPF, to increase the SPF, increase the Zinc Oxide. Use everyday on your face under your make up, and your neck and arms (they are exposed to sun when you are driving). Please contact me for sources for supplies needed to start your project

Ultra Moisturizing Natural Sunscreen (by doTerra)

Ingredients:doTerra's Helichrysum essential oil

Directions:

Add everything except zinc oxide in a medium sized glass mixing bowl.  Fill a medium saucepan with a few inches of water and place over medium heat. Place glass bowl on top of the saucepan so the saucepan is cradling the bowl.  As the ingredients start to melt, stir occasionally to mix.  When all ingredients are completely incorporated, add the zinc oxide and stir well to mix.  Pour into a pint sized tin or mason jar and store in a cool place.  It will last for 6 months.
