Sunday is the one day that my husband always takes off work. No matter how busy work is, he always is sure to be home on Sunday. We spend the day playing with the kids outside, taking care of our garden, or maybe just watching a movie. Whatever we end up doing, we just enjoy spending one day a week together. On a day like this the last thing that I want to do it be in the kitchen cooking when everyone else is having fun! That’s why Sunday’s dinner is almost always a slow cooker meal. It’s just so easy to take all the ingredients for dinner and toss it in the slow cooker and then forget about it until the timer goes off. I love it!
Slow cooker meals don’t have to be soup or a roast. Even though those are delicious options, they are only two of the endless possibilities! Pulled pork sandwiches are my favorite dish to make in the slow cooker. I serve them with sweet rolls and tangy coleslaw. Another favorite is Teriyaki Chicken. If you add steamed veggies with rice, you have a simple and delicious dinner. Be sure to check out all of the slow cooker meals that I’ve put together for you to enjoy!
