Valentine’s Day Pop-up Card
One of my goals for the new year is to send cards to my family for every holiday. It might sound strange in this age of email and e-cards, but I love receiving cards in the mail and I know my family and friend do too! This Valentine’s Day card is a fun way to send a bit of love to your loved ones.
Using my Sizzix Big Shot and the Sizzix Movers & Shapers XL Die – Card, Square Stand-Ups die I cut the base of the card. Be sure to position the center piece before you die cut to be sure the card cuts correctly.
When using this die you will need a Sizzix Accessory – Cutting Pads, Extended and a Sizzix Accessory – Premium Crease Pad, Extended to make the popup feature fold properly.
To embellish this card I used the Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 6PK – Frames, Hearts & Tab and pastel card stock.
Glue all your pieces on and then you’re ready to send these cards to your family and friends! I added a small piece of bakers twine at the top to add a bit of dimension. You can also add glitter, or confetti to make it sparkle, or use printed paper. The possibilities are endless, and so much fun!
