Washi Tape Magnets

I don’t know about you, but I have tons and tons of magnets on my fridge. I use them to hold up the weekly grocery lists or my kids’ latest art projects. In the past I would cover them with decorative paper using glue, but now I use washi tape. It’s so much easier – no sticky glue mess! And, if I decide to change the prints or colors all I have to do is peel off the tape and put on a new one!

Now, I know that I’m not making history with this post. It’s not revolutionary to cover magnets with washi tape, but I just wanted to share a little tip here because I love that my refrigerator is no longer a huge billboard for all of the local restaurants and real estate agents! I use washi tape all over the house to make everything from chip clips to glass vases look a little bit more fun.

You can get washi tape at Michaels, Target, or at online craft supply stores. If you use washi tape, what is your favorite item to decorate it with?
