Washi Tape Pencil Holder

Earlier this week I mentioned that I have a little bit of a glass jar problem. I have too many jars and not enough stuff to fill them with. So for this week’s edition of Washi Tape Wednesday I decided to combine my new found washi tape fascination with my need to re-purpose glass jars. Everyday when my daughter comes home from school we have lunch and then work on homework. But she can never find a pencil or a glue stick or scissors. So I decided to make a decorative jar for her to keep all of her supplies in!

I used two colors of washi tape to make stripes across the jar and that was it! My daughter loved it and she wants to make more to keep all of her trinkets in. I wonder what else I can make with washi tape and glass jars?

Ah, I’ve ALWAYS wanted to use Washi Tape but there are so many crafts out there that seem so complicated I’m not always willing to try. But this? I’ll try this out, thank you!
