Winter Essential Oil Blends
Each season I share a few essential oil blends that I use in my home to bring the scents of the season indoors. With these blends I have made baking soda air fresheners in my closets, but those work better in small spaces, not larger rooms. For the rest of my house, I like to use oil burners or diffusers. Just a few drops of essential oils added to either can add a delightful scent to my home. You can also add essential oils to a small glass spray bottle with witch hazel to use as a room refresher. With the first day of Winter approaching, I wanted to also share my favorites for the season. These blends are not just for Christmas, but for all Winter long. Christmas Spice: 4 Cinnamon, 5 Clove, 3 Orange, 1 Lemongrass
Candy Cane: 4 Peppermint, 2 Spearmint
Gingerbread: 3 Cinnamon, 2 Clove, 1 Nutmeg, 2 Ginger
Sugar and Spice: 10 Orange, 5 Ginger, 8 Cinnamon, 1 Nutmeg
Walk Through the Woods: 2 Myrrh, 2 Pine, 2 Frankincense, 2 Cedarwood
Holiday Joy: 3 Orange, 2 Peppermint, 3 Frankincense
Wise Men’s Gift: 3 Orange, 5 Frankincense, 4 Myrrh
Winter Wonderland: 4 Cedarwood, 4 Pine, 3 Orange
Christmas Tree: 5 Fir Needle, 5 Spruce, 5 Cedarwood, 5 Juniper
Spiced Cider: 4 Orange, 3 Cinnamon, 3 Ginger
