A Simple Breakfast for an Easier Morning

The school year will be starting soon and I’m not ready! Our lazy days of summer, waking up late and playing outside until the sun goes down, are numbered. As we approach the end of August I know that it’s time to get back into our regular routine. It’s usually about two weeks before school starts that I begin to wake the kids up early, little by little so it’s not such a shock that first week of school.

During the summer I still wake up earlier than everyone else in the house. I like to sip my coffee and check my emails. But my morning alone time is going to lessen little by little as the kids wake up earlier. To make this transition easier for everyone, I tried the new Jimmy Dean® Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit Roll-Ups for breakfast.

These little pockets of deliciousness are the perfect size for my kids to enjoy, and are easy enough for them to make on their own!  With 10g Protein per serving and just 60 seconds in the microwave, breakfast is served.  For full nutritional information please check the packaging.

The outside is soft and flaky like a biscuit and it’s filled with egg, sausage, and cheese. Delish! This quick and easy breakfast will not only help us as we transition into school-mode but also during those first few chaotic mornings when we’re trying to get back into our groove. And if we’re rushing out the door, these Jimmy Dean Biscuit Roll-ups can easily be taken on the go!

I picked up my Jimmy Dean Biscuit Roll-ups at Target in the breakfast frozen foods aisle while doing my weekly shopping. Many Target stores will be having an in-store demo on 8/31 – be sure to check with your local store!
