Easy Cinnamon Roll Waffles

Easy Cinnamon Roll Waffles

I bought a mini waffle maker about a month ago to make waffle sandwiches. But you know, life happened and I put in my cupboard and then forgot about it. This week I dusted it off and opened it for the first time when I made breakfast for dinner. If you’ve never done that, I highly recommend it! I had when foods are designated for certain times of the day. Maybe I want pasta for breakfast and scrambled eggs for dinner!

After I made the waffles last week I found that really like how the mini maker worked so I left it out and tried these cinnamon roll waffles over the weekend. I used a tube of refrigerated cinnamon rolls, pressed each one between two sheets of waxed paper, and cooked them for 3 minutes each. The best part, in my opinion, is being able to easily cook one at a time without using my oven. I put any unused rolls in a container and left them in the fridge until the next day when someone wanted another one. Easy peasy! I’m hesitant to even call this a “recipe.” It’s more of just a hint or a quick tip. But whatever you want to call it, this method for making cinnamon rolls is my new favorite!
