Knotts Spooky Farm 2017
Yesterday my kids and I visited Knott’s Berry Farm for our 4th year of Spooky Farm! This not-so-scarry event features activities perfect for kids ages 3-11. We went on Halloween themed rides, trick-or-treated in Ghost Town, sang along with the Peanuts Gang, and more. This annual family-friendly celebration takes place weekends, September 30 – October 29 and Halloween Day and is included with regular park admission or your 2017 Season Pass.
Trick-Or-Treating in Ghost Town
Kids ages 3-11 can participate in Trick-Or-Treating through Ghost TOwn and interact with an array of spooky but friendly shopkeepers. Treat bags are handed out at the main gate.
Creepy Critters of Calico
Stanly Scarecrow has opened the Livery Stables for guests of all ages to get close and personal with the Creepy Critters of Calico.
Ghost Town Pumpkin Patch
Enjoy the atmosphere of the season and participate in decoration your own pumpkin (for a small fee).
The Ghastly Gallery
Visit the Ghastly Gallery for a slate of entertaining activities including a live show and an opportunity for your little ghouls to participate in drawing their best masterpiece. Inside this monsterous museum, you can sample spooky culture and visit the Monsterpiece Theater starring Charlie Brown and Lucy.
Dia de los Muertos Celebration
Join the Dia de los Muertos Celebration for an interactive, non-scary, educational celebration of the season. The themed area offers a walk through village filled with photo ops, educational activities, and face painting.
Peanuts Costume Contest
Come show off your best Halloween costume at the Peanuts Costume Contest and afterward join Peanuts characters in a Peanuts Dance Party.
The Monsters Are Coming, Charlie Brown
The Peanuts gang will have guests of all ages singing and dancing along to classic Halloween tunes.
A Trip To Camp Spooky
The Grand Sierra Railroad transforms into a one-of-a-kind experience which takes riders on an adventure to find Camp Spooky and the Peanuts Gang. Take a ride and see added 2D & 3D Halloween Themed characters and effects. Camp has never been this fun, or creepy.
Timer Mountain Log Ride Halloween Hootenanny
Every year the citizens of the Timber Mountain invite the mysterious creatures that live out in the woods and caverns of the area to join them as they celebrate the season at the Halloween Hootenanny. The ride’s interior will feature new fun surprise as guests venture past the Calico Coffin Creeper band, the Green Witch and splash down Skull Mountian through a labyrinth of jack-o-lanterns.
