DIY Wipe Off Board & Printable Family Organizer

If you recall, my word of the year for 2014 is Organize. I feel that there is so much going on in my house with 3 kids, my shop and this blog, it’s hard to keep everything straight! I signed up for eMeals to help me with planning for dinners and I printed out monthly calendars to keep me organized with my business, but I felt that I needed a quick reference for the kitchen of all that was happening.

I found an 11×17″ frame at Walmart for $4.00 and it fits 2 pieces of letter size perfectly! So I made a blank monthly calendar and then also a sheet where I write my weekly Menu Plan, Grocery List and To Do List. Then I printed out each month to place right in the middle of the two pages where there would otherwise be a blank spot. This system has been working so well for us! We use a fine tip Sharpie pen to write right on the glass and this comes right off with glass cleaner.

It was difficult to get  good picture of the whole system because I kept getting a reflection on the glass and the writing always looked fuzzy, but I think you get the idea. This is a simple, easy and cost effective system that has been working for our family.

If you would like to print this out to use in your home, you can use these links to the pdf’s:

I love this neat concise way of keeping so much information at hand. My husband and I both spend time cooking in the kitchen and now we will be able to note things we need to replenish in a centralized location.
