Easy DIY Upcycled Book Box

My daughter and I have really been working hard to keep with her nightly reading for school. Every week she brings home several small paper books that they are working on in class and they are really starting to pile up! We read them everyday and needed a place to keep them organized. So I took an empty cracker box and made it into a book box!

First I cut off the top tabs.

The I drew a diagonal line and cut out an opening so that I can see the books inside.

Next, I covered the box with printed duct tape.

After making this box, I have also made another box using a cereal box to fit bigger books too. We keep the books next to the couch and practice reading at the end of the night after her two little brothers so to bed, since that’s the only quiet time we have!
