Peanut Butter Squares

I made these for a party a few weeks ago and received rave reviews from all the guests! They tasted just like the Reese’s Peanut Butter cups, no kidding. The first time I made them I used a circle cookie cutter so that they really did look like the traditional cups, but it caused a lot of waste and, really, once you try these you will not want to wait one tiny little bit of them!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup + 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 (12 oz) bag of chocolate chips

Directions:·

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners’ sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9×13 inch pan.
  • In the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the remaining peanut butter, stirring every 30 seconds until melted until smooth. Spread over the peanut butter layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.
  • Store in a closed container in the refrigerator.

I cut these into bite size pieces so that I could just have one as a snack. However it just made me want to eat more!

This looks delicious! I love that you don’t bake them! A great dessert for Easter! Thanks for the recipe!
