Even though our Summer is packed with camps, playdates, beach day, and more I know that as soon as we have a few minutes of quiet time my kids will inevitably say “I’m bored.” So I’m going to stay ahead of the game and make sure that I have activities, games, books, and more to keep them busy. This first set of printables are Summer themed and include a Picture Finder, Word Finder, and 1-10 Flashcards.
The Picture Finder is great for all ages. I like to laminate the pages so that the kids can use them over and over. Use a dry erase marker to X out the images as you count and mark your tally at the bottom. The Word Finder is good for beginning readers. Again, I laminate this page so my kids can mark out the letters to spell a word, then wipe the page clean and try another word. I also included a traditional Word Search for older kids.
The set of flashcards is great for preschool or kinder age kids to practice counting and number recognition for numbers 1-10. Kids can match the image cards to the numbers, or you can print out (2) sets of the image cards and use them to play memory. The border of the cards are dashed so that kids can practice their cutting skills as well.
As I create more printables for the kids I’ll be sharing them here, so be sure to check back!
