Winter Fest – SoCal’s Ultimate Winter Experience
Winter Fest is coming to town with tons of family fun at the OC Fair & Event Center! It’s a wonderland of immersive wintry fun featuring a full outdoor ice rink, 130-foot, six lane Snowflake Summit ice slide, a new-for-2016 play park featuring real snow blown in daily for snow angels and snowman building, photos on the world’s largest rocking horse, strolling carolers and personal visits in the cabin of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Plus, an entirely new Festival of Lights walk-through holiday light show featuring more than two million sparkling lights. Enjoy festive food and drinks, live entertainment and holiday fun at Southern California’s largest winter experience.

VIP EXPERIENCE:
Private, rink-side VIP cabanas start at only $69 per session, creating a destination for holiday office parties, birthday parties, family retreats or date night. Each cabana will accommodate two to 10 people and can adapt to fit parties of up to 100 guests. The VIP cabanas offer exclusive menus with seasonally-inspired food, cocktails, a private ice rink entrance and private servers.
Kids Attractions:
Character Live Shows and Meet and Greets: Barbie™, BOB the Builder™, Care Bears, Magic Tree House™, Octonauts™, Thomas & Friends, Angry Birds™, and Caillou™, will perform live mini shows, and offer meet and greets with kids. MIND Research Activities: Winter Fest OC has partnered with MIND Research Institute, a social impact nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that all students are mathematically equipped to solve the world’s most challenging problems, and will offer fun educational activities for kids starting at Pre-K. This will be the first time these educational treasures are available on loan from the Institute.

- Ice Caves – Virtual arcade-style puzzles
- Lil’ Mathematician Zone – Play-based learning with various math concept activities to build math literacy and overall development
- Locked Up – Use of topology to stretch your thinking beyond traditional geometry
- ST Math – Created by MIND Research Institute, Spatial-Temporal (ST) Math is instructional software designed to boost math comprehension and proficiency through visual learning.

MIND Research Scholarship Fund: Winter Fest OC is proud to be raising funds for the Marian Bergeson School Grants Fund, which will support math education programming for designated schools in California.
Santa Photos and Story Time with Mrs. Claus: Winter Fest is a great place to get that holiday photo taken with Santa and also catch story time with Mrs. Claus. Reading times daily in Santa’s Cabin.
Other Kids Attractions: Bounce houses, a snow play area with real snow blown in daily with sleds for 46” height and under, little elves workshop with crafts, carnival rides and games, a toddler play area, Santa’s petting zoo, personal visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and story time with Mrs. Claus.
