Spiced Applesauce and Oatmeal Muffins

These muffins are not light and fluffy, they are dense and filling. They make great snacks in between meals, or for an easy breakfast while on the go!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cups old fashion oats
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup applesauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease muffin pan.
  2. Mix your dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Then mix your wet ingredients in a separate bowl and combine with the dry ingredients.
  4. Next, fill your muffin tins 3/4 of the way full and bake 18-20 minutes.
