Winter is the most wonderful time of the year as the family theme park hosts its’ holiday celebration: Holidays at LEGOLAND® California Resort! Beginning Nov. 18 through Jan. 1, children and their families can feel the LEGO® cheer at the annual winter holiday celebration and enjoy shimmering lights, live entertainment, the world’s largest LEGO Christmas tree, festive decor and more!

After a three-year hiatus, vintage model trains will fill the Nixon Library once again as the centerpiece of A Whistling White House Wonderland. The festive 24-foot wide, 10-foot tall snow-capped mountain of toy trains will feature classic model trains of Christmas past – plus Thomas the Tank Engine – whistling over bridges and chugging through tunnels carefully handcrafted by the Train Collectors Association. The six-track design, with more than 50 feet of rails, features an all-American 1950s Midwestern town, with billowing factories, quaint family homes, and expansive farms.

Aquarium Holidays features special holiday décor, a display of gingerbread houses, snowfall in the Great Hall, and the Aquarium’s costumed characters in their holiday outfits. Visitors can also enjoy holiday music, shopping, and a special holiday menu offered daily in Café Scuba.

On weekends the Aquarium will have a snow play area, underwater shows with Santa Diver, children’s crafts, photo opportunities with Santa and holiday characters, and Hanukkah storytelling with opportunities to play dreidel.
