How To Make Stained Glass Candle Holders

I’ve had these DecoArt Glass Stains for months, since Spring actually. My original intention was to make a sun catcher but I just never really got around to it. Then I thought it would be a good idea to use them to decorate glass jars. But when I when to use them, the paint was too thin to make a design. It dripped down the side of the jar, and I loved the way it looked! I tried this a few times on different types of glasses, jars and containers. These rounded candle holders looked the best, in my opinion.

These glasses cost $1 each at Micheal’s Arts & Crafts, I’ve also seen a lot of glass vases and containers at our local dollar store. I love that each piece is different because of the unique drip marks. For these candle holders I used blue and green DecoArt Glass Stain. For the next project, I want to use green and red for a Christmas table decoration. Wouldn’t that look great for Christmas dinner? Maybe even with white flowers inside? So many possibilities!
