Summer break has started for most kids, but we still have a week to go! To make sure that my daughter doesn’t lose all that she learned over during the school year, we’re trying to be proactive and continue practicing her reading and math.
Last year I shared the Summer Reading List from the Association for Library Service to Children website and I wanted to share it again this year with you! They have a list of recommended books for grades K-8 along with a short description of each.
I picked 10 from each list that I thought looking interesting and listed them below. There is also a link that will take you to the complete list with 25 book suggestions for each grade range below.
Last Summer we read 15 minutes 4 times per week, and this year we are going to try for double that! Will you be making a goal to read with your kids this Summer? I hope you do!
