Course Appetizer
Cuisine Mexican
- 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes drained
- 1/2 bunch of fresh cilantro
- juice of 1/2 lime
- 2 garlic cloves peeled
- 1/2 a jalapeno seeds and membrane removed
- 1/4 of a small onion
Cut off the stems of your cilantro just under the leaves, then add to a food processor.
Drain the tomatoes slightly, don't worry about removing all of the juice. Just drain as much as you can so the salsa isn't too watery.
Next, add the tomatoes to the food processor along with all of the other ingredients.
Pulse the food processor a few times until all of the ingredients are chopped. Do not blend or process on full speed or you'll end up with soup! Just a few short pulses will do the trick.
